{"id":5,"date":"2015-04-18T14:10:16","date_gmt":"2015-04-18T20:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/?p=5"},"modified":"2015-04-18T14:30:39","modified_gmt":"2015-04-18T20:30:39","slug":"taco-ring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/taco-ring\/","title":{"rendered":"Taco Ring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One of my son&#8217;s favorites!\u00a0\u00a0 The Taco Ring!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6\" style=\"width: 565px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tacoring.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6\" class=\"wp-image-6 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tacoring.jpg?resize=555%2C414\" alt=\"Taco Ring\" width=\"555\" height=\"414\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tacoring.jpg?w=555&amp;ssl=1 555w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fomby.com\/momma\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/tacoring.jpg?resize=300%2C224&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-6\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yummy Taco Ring &#8211; My son loves this<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Ingredients (supposedly serves 4-6)<\/p>\n<p>1 lb lean ground beef<br \/>\n1 (1 1\/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix<br \/>\n1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 ounces)<br \/>\n2 tablespoons water<br \/>\n2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent dinner rolls<br \/>\n1 medium bell pepper<br \/>\n1 cup salsa<br \/>\n3 cups lettuce, shredded<br \/>\n1 medium tomatoes<br \/>\n1\u20444 cup onion, chopped (optional)<br \/>\n1\u20442 cup pitted ripe black olives (optional)<br \/>\nsour cream (optional)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Directions<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cook ground beef in large skillet over medium heat 7-9 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; drain.<\/li>\n<li>Remove pan from heat.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in taco seasoning mix, cheese and water.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F.<\/li>\n<li>Unroll crescent dough; separate into triangles.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange triangles in a circle on Classic Round Pizza Stone with wide ends overlapping in center and points toward outside. (There should be a 5 inch diameter opening in center.) I use my Pampered Chef pizza stone, but any flat round pan should work&#8211;perhaps even a pizza sheet, but I&#8217;d spray it with Pam before adding the crescent rolls.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop meat mixture evenly onto widest end of each triangles up over filling and tuck under wide ends of dough at center of ring. (Filling will not be completely covered).<\/li>\n<li>Bake at 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.<\/li>\n<li>Shred lettuce and chop tomato, onion, olives, and bell pepper (if desired).<\/li>\n<li>If you want to do something fancy, scoop out a bell pepper and fill with salsa and put into center of ring.<\/li>\n<li>Add your toppings to top of ring and finish with more shredded cheese and sour cream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of my son&#8217;s favorites!\u00a0\u00a0 The Taco Ring!
